It’s unanimous, Joe Mauer’s awesome

Joe Mauer was a unanimous selection as the AL catcher on The Sporting News’ 2010 All-Star team. Robinson Cano was the only other unanimous selection. (Mauer & Cano were the only unanimous picks for both the National and American Leagues)

In addition to Mauer and Cano, the AL All-Star team features Miguel Cabrera, Evan Longoria, Alexei Ramirez, Josh Hamilton, Jose Bautista, Carl Crawford and Vladimir Guerrero.
