I was waiting for the bus in the hot-as-hell sun today, and all I could think was “I wish I were in the beautiful A/C at the Trop.”
I’m a native Floridian who cannot stand any temperature above 73, okay? And don’t even get me started on the nasty humidity.

Overheard conversations on campus
Two males sit in front of me, discussing sports. Mainly soccer and football.
Male in class: Do you watch any baseball? Second male: Oh, no. Never got into it. Male: Yeah, that whole 162 game thing is kind of crazy, right? Second male: Yeah, it is. Takes a ton of dedication, which I don’t have.

Bringing up old stories like it's my job:
I still find it quite astonishing that the All-Star Game is not occurring at Fenway. It is the 100th anniversary. The 100th anniversary. That’s something to celebrate for all baseball fans, not just the Red Sox. If baseball continuously claims to cherish the history of the game more than any other sport, then why wouldn’t it be at Fenway?
Oh well. I’m sure the people at Fenway...
