Also, Jason Kubel was activated off the DL!
He is likely going to back in the line-up on Friday (today, I guess) against the Tigers. Even if it’s in the DH spot, it’s going to be nice to get his bat back in the line-up, as the Twins have seen some recent offensive struggles.

Number 11, first baseman for the Tampa Bay Rays, CASEY KOTCHMAN!
In a lineup full of inconsistency and lack of offensive push, Casey Kotchman has been one of the Rays’ most solid and reliable hitters, as well as being reliable on defense. He just qualified with enough at-bats to enter the AL batting race with a .337 average, which puts him in second place behind Adrian Gonzalez and in front of Jose Bautista.
He’s truly having the best season of his career, and I hope it continues!
Hudson update from ESPN
Hudson moved his arms, spoke and shook at least one teammate’s hand before being driven off the field strapped to a stretcher Thursday. He was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests but was able to take off his socks in the clubhouse, the team said.
These are some good signs. Hopefully that means it wasn’t as serious as it looked.

I’m already plotting how I will steal one of these from a child.
Orlando Hudson just carted away in a neck brace.
After making a catch and sliding/falling into the wall. Looks like he banged his head and right shoulder area. He immediately laid still after the impact.
