Excerpts:
Q. Before you signed an extension with the Twins, did you consider the possibility of being a Yankee?
A. I’d be lying to say that I didn’t. It’s something that you’re curious about when you consider testing the free-agent market, but looking back on it, I always wanted to be a Twin because I grew up in Minnesota. My ultimate goal is winning a World Series, and I think we can do that in Minnesota, so I’m happy to stay home.
Q. Who was your baseball idol growing up?
A. I really admired Kent Hrbek and Kirby Puckett, I enjoyed the way they played the game. Hrbek was a Minnesota guy who played at home, like me, and Puckett always had a smile on his face, so they would be my favorites.

I said I will if CJ Wilson tweets that I should.
They have accepted the challenge.
Good luck, ladies. PSHHH.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Andy Sonnanstine apparently joined the St. Petersburg Beach-based Sunrise Table Tennis League in the offseason. He invited his table tennis friends over to the batting cages Saturday for some games which included: David Price, Elliot Johnson, Johnny Damon, and Coach Joe Maddon.

I’m writing a small film paper on the movie Miracle, and I thought it would be a nice touch to have a hockey fan’s perspective of the movie to compare with movie critics’ reviews. I would obviously like opinions from American citizens, but if you’re from another country and have an opinion of the movie that’s great, too. OR perhaps you’ve seen this movie and aren’t that big of a hockey fan, but you have something to say about the movie. I would also appreciate that.
PUT IT IN MY ASK BOX PLEASE. Thank you! :)
